Gas-liquid chromatography of dialkyl, alkyl acyl, and diacyl derivatives of glycerol

Dialkyl, alkyl acyl, and diacyl glycerols were resolved as trimethylsilyl ethers and as acetates by gas-liquid chromatography on a nonpolar stationary phase (OV-1). The two types of derivatives proved suitable for quantitative gas chromatographic analysis.
