Fractionation of naturally occurring lecithins according to degree of unsaturation by thin-layer chromatography

Intact, naturally occurring lecithins were fractionated according to degree of unsaturation by thin-layer chromatography on silica gel plates impregnated with silver nitrate and heated at 175-180° for several hours.
