About the Cover
COVER: The upper figures represent apoA-I bound to a phosphatidylcholine disc according to the picket fence model. The disc on the left illustrates the formation of a hinge domain on a disc too small to accommodate all helices. The lower figures are ribbon representations of two monomers of aoA-ID(1-43) derived from the protein structure database. Docking of the two monomers via their C-terminal helices yields the belt model of two apoA-I associated with a phosphatidylcholine disc. (See Frank and Marcel, p. 853.)
