About the Cover
COVER: Activation of cytosolic phospholipase A2 (cPLA2) by 25-hydroxycholesterol in CHO-K1 cells. cPLA2 is activated by increases in cellular Ca2+ concentration through relocalization to the nuclear envelope. Cells were examined, by fluorescence microscopy and digital deconvolution, after transient expression of a green fluorescent protein-cPLA2 fusion protein for 48 h, followed by an additional 6 h incubation in the absence (left) or presence (right) of 3 &mgr;g/ml 25-hydroxycholesterol.
