About the Cover
COVER: The background DNA sequence is from the human genome. The foreground colored sequence is a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) binding site WebLogo. The height of each letter represents the relative probability of nucleotide occurrence at that position within the binding site. The overall height of each column of letters indicates the degree of conservation at that position. (See Lemay and Hwang, p. 1583.)
